Swirl Hat

Probably our most popular project, the lovely Swirl Hat takes just one skein (apart from the pom pom) of Plump.  The pattern is so simple, but you do need to knit in the round.  It takes just an hour or so to knit up so perfect for gifts.

The orange hat shown is a sloppier style.  It uses the entire skein of yarn.  The beanie version uses less so you can get a pom pom out of the remainder.

You will need:
One skein of Plump (two if you want a pompom and do not want a ready made one)
10mm circular needles or DPNs

The hats shown are in (from top): marmalade (with raspberry ripple pom pom), earl grey (with cherry pie pom pom) and sugared almond (with fondant fancy)
